I have a copy of Dragon's Lair II DVD (not ROM)
and can play it just find through PowerDVDxp
on the PC.

(The little directional arrows in the corner are a bit annoying,
but I can manage until I can come across a cheap DVD-ROM
version of the game, or till Daphne supports it on PC)

Question for you hardcore DL Freaks: Is the 20th Anniversary DVD Rom 'arcade-acurrate'? or does it still have something to be desired?

Anyhoo....

If I map the control panel that I'm working on to have
one of the Player1 buttons be the ENTER key,
(which is how you use the Enter Key for the Sword in PowerDVD)
can anyone think of any issues I'd have with this
in either the Mame, Daphne, or U-64 emulators?

I dont want to ruin the conrols for any of these other emulators
just to play DLII, but If I can get away with this, I'd like to do it.

...so I will ask you... "Deal, or No Deal?"

You might consider playing Dragon's Lair 2 in Daphne instead of PowerDVDxp. You'll have to convert your 20th Anniversary DVD rom into mpeg. See this post:
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,34664.0.html

You'll end up with a *much* better game play - less stopping and more arcade accurate. And, of course, it'll blend seemlessly with your already setup Daphne emulator.

No issues I can think of. Except don't  use the ALT key anywhere also, or you'll end up switching to and from full screen mode and windowed mode.
