Springfiled +neo geo
« on: April 03, 2005, 04:59:37 pm »
I wanted to make some fictitious game names to go into a 2 slot neo geo marquee so I used two simpson's games: Nuke canada and Bonestorm (see below) I'm fairly happy with nuke canada (cause it looks similar to what appeared on the show) but bonestorm needs some pizzazz I'm thinking--suggestions?

haha love the idea as i am some what of a Simpsons nut. The bonestorm one is a bit tough to figure out as i dont think they ever show a picture of the box art or anything from the game o the show. Although i think maybe it appears on the tv sometime during the show, if you can find a screen cap you can base it on that.

Also "Larry the Looter" would be cool too, but their is no denying the awesomeness that it Bonestorm.

Oh here is a pic of a Simpsons toy that i pulled up when looking for screen caps and such. So maybe you can improve the Nuke Canada one by making the Nuke text bolder and a yellow color.

Good call on the yellow--As far as bonestorm goes i'm not sure if they ever show the cover so I had to adlib--hence the goofiness of it.  After looking at it for awhile I think the blood would look better more cartoon-y like the rest of it and it would be nice if the bonestrom letters lept out a little but not sure how to get that 3-d effect (tips anyone?)

Let's not forget about "Touch of Death" either :-)

touch of death is classic.

You should really look into using that game title as it is more widely known than some of the others.

If you get "Simpsons Hit & Run" you can play some of these games.
