Just trying to get my signature image to appear at the bottom.

Yeah that was there so it didnt show up an image   No space in the second for that matter too.

You need to drag and drop the picture you want from your hard drive to the red "x" under your post.  Do it on one post, then refresh the page and it should show up in all your posts.  It can be tricky to line up so repeat if it doesn't work the first time.

If you don't see the red "x", you'll probably have to download and install the latest update to your browser.  If that doesn't solve it, you probably don't have .NET on your PC.  Windows XP usually installs this, so try a fresh install.

If you can't line it up correctly, make sure your screen resolution is set to 1100x547.

OK...

So I have under the Signature section of my profile...



And I hit Change Profile....

But when I view the Post, I see a "depressed box/button with a RED X in it.

I can't seem to drag & Drop the image to the post.  Can others see the Signature Image?

I know the URL works cuz' I put the ardess in the browser window and it comes up.

HELP!!!

that will bring your avatar into your sig
remove the  # though.

I don't want my avtar, but a different image that's hosted...

Using your # and * example, here's what I have...

(but without the # and * of course)

All that shows up is the BOX with that dreaded RED X.

Am I doing something wrong?

Ehhh.... could be your double www in the url. Just a guess

If your system isn't too screwed up and you can get to a command prompt, formatting your hard drive should solve things, and once you're back up, you should have no problems with this. 

If a format doesn't solve it, you may have a bad power supply or motherboard, so try replacing them one at a time until the problem goes away.

Worst case scenario is that you'll have to switch out your video card or monitor, but I doubt it'll get to the monitor stage...the video card is usually the final straw that kicks everything into gear if it hasn't worked up to that point.

Good luck with all this.  Hopefully you are able to use all these suggestions today, I heard NewEgg's prices are going to increase April 2^nd

Shape, there's no avoiding it, you will need a low level format, firmware flash for your CD drive (just use any of 'em, they're all the same), POSSIBLY a BIOS flash (same as the CD flash, any one will do), and a new monitor.

Send me your phone number, and when I call, press the # sign three times, and enter in your ATM card number, followed by two *'s and your PIN number.  That should start the download of the manual you will require in order to complete those steps

If I can access your demos I can DL and throw 'em on CD for some early listening...they've already signed "Pink Houses" and two other bands!

If this tiny type is making your head hurt, you aren't getting enough bacon.  You need to up your dosage to the Daily Recommended (by ShapeD) Allowance of bacon.  I believe you may have to start raising your own pigs to achieve it, but the headaches will go away
