AVGA MAME Resolution Tool problem
« on: March 29, 2005, 12:28:49 am »
Hi all,

I think I have a problem with the AVGA MAME Res Tool.

I have been using the tool for a few weeks now tweaking resolution settings and it has been working perfectly. However this evening I noticed that it wasn't pulling up the settings for games I have already configured. When I look at my MAME folder and check the INI files, the resolution settings (and any command line options) are indeed present in the INI file, but when I select the same game in the RES Tool the settings don't show up (instead everything is blank as though the settings don't exist).

Hi all,

I've been tinkering with the AVGA Res tool the last couple of days but haven't had much luck. I suspect MinWah will have to address things when he returns in a few weeks.

In the meantime,  to verify that I understand how the AVGA Res Tool is supposed to work, can  I ask BYOACers this question:

1)  is the AVGA Res Tool supposed to read-in existing INI settings when it starts up and have those settings available for edit by clicking on a game title? (after you've initially generated the INIs of courses)

Thanks,
Breaker.
