CPviewer Setup Question
« on: March 23, 2005, 05:49:07 pm »
Hey Everyone, I'm sorry to ask a question that you all must be asked quite a bit but i'm haveing a great deal of trouble setting up CPViewer 3.2 the mamewah 1.61.

as i have it right now when i'm in mamewah and hit 1 to load a game nothing happens it just goes ahead and skips CPViewer and goes stright to mame.  my ini file looks like the following:

...
app_1_executable                          c:\cpviewer\cpviewer.exe
app_1_commandline_format                  [name] -clone [cloneof]
...
auto_launch_apps                          1

I have also tryed the same thing with cpvw with no luck.
Any help would be great!
Thank you,
Mike

My problem was in my cpvw.ini file when you tell CPviewer where control.ini is i put in control.in i left out an "i".

Ok well... I think CPviewer just wont cut it for me then... Rats it was very easy to mess with after i got it working.  Guess i'm moving on to Johnny5.   By the way is there any good step by Step setup instructions for Johnny5?
