Light Gun Games
« on: March 23, 2005, 03:44:58 pm »
Cabinet nearly complete now. Have been having some fun with an Act Labs light gun which works nicely with a couple a MAME games, House of the Dead 2, and of all things the freeware game Duck Doom (which amuses me and my Kids).

This got me thinking. Are there any emulators for consoles such  as the SNES or the Sega Genesis which work with the light gun, (Fusion has a lightgun tickbox, but readme says not yet implemented).

Also if there are emulators, are there any good games

Thanks

The Digital Leisure series (Mad Dog Mcree, Last Bounty Hunter, etc...) is loads of fun.

You can usually pick them up pretty cheap on ebay.

Just be sure to look for the XP compatible ones because they have been reworked for good MPEG full-screen display.

The DOS versions are very low-res, and look terrible (and are unplayable) at full screen.
