MameWAH ESRB Game Lists?
« on: March 20, 2005, 01:32:37 pm »
Has anyone worked to put together an ESRB set of game lists for Mame and/or MameWAH?  I built an arcade cabinet for my kids as a Christmas present, but there are a lot of inappropriate games for them (11, 10, and 7).

It would be awesome to have age appropriate lists to choose from.

1) Download the catver.ini for your version of MAME
2) Specify the path to it in your emulator config (in MAMEWAH)
3) Re-generate you default list
4) In MAMEWAH, make sure you're looking at a "favorites" list (not the default, i.e. -0.ini, one) and filter out your games using the string "*Mature*" in the category field.

You can do all this a little easier in MAMEWAH Config since you can do it all in a point-and-click interface.
