Saw a picture of Michael Gross, who went from being perfect dad on Family Ties to doing nothing but 'Tremors' sequels.

here's a question it was an 80's game show where there was a sequence where you had to make it across a series of elevators and each time you got a question right, you could move onto the next one, but when you got it wrong the elevator would drop--whats the name of this show?  the "elevator" bit was only a part of the show.

NM--it was pitfall with alex trebek--only reason i watched it was cause my buddies grandma used to give us ice cream if we would let her finish the show without talking  :P

That 80's TV Themes site is awesome but it hasn't been updated (it seems) since the 90's.  Got some really great Price is Right music cues from it and used it for a student film my friend made.

Now Pitfall... wow, that was a weird gameshow.  I remember watching it without grasping the exact reason why people were falling into pits.  Any old way... here's a clip of someone failing miserably at the bonus round I downloaded a long time ago from a now defunct game show website.  It's realplayer format, 5.5MB, and mildly entertaining.
