An Intresting spin on my bartop arcade

So today at work by the dumpster was this great looking plexiglass compartment style table that was just getting thrown away.

Now me being the gamer at heart immediately thought it would be perfect for my bartop to rest on.  So I took it home, painted it the same coat as my bartop and just put it in here.  Now I have to say, I feel it definitely brings my bartop to a new level cosmetically.

It almost seems like an oblong style arcade machine, almost like a coin door could go in the front under the control panel!!

I just thought I'd share this with everyone, see what they think about the coin door idea.  It just seems like it would be a fun little thing to add.

but this is with all the plexi installed and side art, ready to go.  I know there's visible screws, and many wont like my bezel/plexi installation,  but I feel it is good enough for a first time, with a total of about 15 hrs. work time. I just thought it'd share it to everyone.  This board has been a great help to me.

Thanks in advance for all the feedback!

Matt

It looks good i like it :)

Makes it look like a full machine ;)

If u add a coin door and add a connector under the bartop you would have a full cabinet which can break apart for moving very easily :D

it looks great i think but id like to see what everyone else says about the coin door

Great find tho  ;D

thanks for the compliments!!  I know I was thrilled once the paint dried on the plexi, it looks great!!

But I was kind of hoping for more than 1 reply with 135 views  :D  Oh well, it's probably because of the bong in the first two photos....stupid stoner....hahaha

none the less thanks for the comments
