Lingo internet phone vs. Vonage

Any experience with either? Considering getting one or the other, as they are cheaper than standard home phone service and MUCH cheaper than my cell phone.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

We only have Vonage around these parts, from what I know, and of the two people that use it, I've used the phone at one of their houses, and talked to both....it sounds like they're talking on the OLDER (think early 80's) cordless phones.

The only downside is that should they ever have to call the cops, they may run into problems, and if their 'net goes out...but both things are most likely not going to happen often, if at all around these parts.  YMMV

Hi,
Check out this  thread
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,29999.0.html

I decided going with ATT (callvantage) for voip. I was a couple of dollar more than vonage. for the basic service. But it was the cheapest calls to mexico (which really interested me).
My phone bill has gone from $150.00 a Month to $85.00 a month.
Not a bad deal at all
