Area 51 - control question

I'm running this game in MAME.  Can I play it with the mouse?  Eventually I hope to get light guns but for now the mouse control is much more better than joystick control.

It's not a lot of fun with a mouse or a trackball, but it is playable.

oops... :)  I guess I just needed to turn on mouse control in the config!  My bad... yeah I hope to get some light gun/s when I hit the lottery!  Unless the brains here can put something together...I'm following the threads carefully!  I only wish I had something to input.
