What Components are Needed To Make A SuperGun

I am looking to try and make a supergun I know I am going to loose money trying but I would like to learn just for my self I know you need allt he basics RGB Converter, Power Supply, Controller, Box For the wireing And boards.  My question is what other items are missing.

For the RGB converter, I think gatorcade.com sells them.

If you have an arcade monitor, you can just use that instead.

why bother making one when they come up on ebay on regular basis?

Your right about that their are some good ones on ebay! but theirare still people like me out their that would like to learn how to do things themselves, if for nothing else but for the experience. I think most people in here know what i'm talking about.
