Dual Video and Program Assignment
« on: March 08, 2005, 09:41:26 pm »
Howdy,

In my PC, I have 2 video cards, an ArcadeVGA hooked up to the cab's arcade monitor (Not sure of model, its an old Doubel Dragon JAMMA cab), and a low-end Nvidia MX hooked up to a 15" PC monitor.

The reason for the 2nd card is that no matter how I try to set it up, the Arcade monitor can not show enough of the windows desktop to make Mame32 work as a front end...The bottom is chopped off, and the right-hand side of the screen is chopped off...

So Im thinking of having the ArcadeVGA card run the emulated games, while the NVideaMX card runs the front end on a 15" PC Monitor setup on a table next to the cab...Is there some way to tell windows to run the frontend on one display and have the game show up on the 2nd display?

Not the prettiest design, but since I cant seem to get the arcade monitor to show enough of the screen thru the ArcadeVGA card, I dont see I have another option...any ideas?

Thanks
Cal
