sound issues
« on: March 04, 2005, 09:25:21 am »
I finaly get the perfect setup and my sound becomes garbled. I've noticed in some capcom cames(final fight, nights of the round, etc.) in mame the sound effects have been slowed down and come out scratchy and unpleasant. The mame32 sound on the other hand works fine. I've looked around for a solution , but nothing. anybody hear of this or have the same problem? any help would be apprciated.
p.s. I have another small sound issue, virtual boy occsianaly gives me this string of horrible sound and thats also starting to drive me crazy.

I dropped mamewah, and starting using gamex. It uses mame32 wich has no sound problems for me. besides, gamex is a great program.  Have you tried it yet?

I use GameEx also , i dont think it will clear up the sound trouble , i have that problem too , i use an older mame32 versions on certain games and they run better, you have to experiment with whitch mame version works best with certain games .
