need help remembering a game
« on: March 03, 2005, 03:03:26 am »
It was about 12-13 years ago and a driving game.  You drove a red car in a race, and when you wrecked it would play a replay. Does anyone know the title of the game?

Sure. It's called "Hard Drivin'". There is also Race Drivin', which is similar in a lot of regards.

Thanks, thats exactly it.  Is it against the forum rules to ask about roms? If so, feel free to scold me.  Is it possible to play this game without a steering wheel and pedals?

I always felt that Hard Drivin's strength was the realism of the car. You could really feel the road in the steering wheel, and the brake pedal was nice n squishy like a real car too.
NO MORE!!

You won't be able to get the "real road" experience with the mame unit.  Maybe I'm wrong.. but there is no way you could wire up the force feedback steering wheel...
