Dreamcast controller problems
« on: March 01, 2005, 08:03:53 am »
I tried to play my dreamcast today but its broken.  The controller ports on it have always been loose when I bought it from a used agme store. I would have to jiggle the cable to get it plugged in. Now when I plug the controller in it beeps the VMU starts to turn on...then the VMU goes blank. I try pressing buttons for the second it is on but nothing happens.

well the beep is your vmu letting you know that the internal battery is dead, but it should still save games and show a picture if the game supports it while in the controller.it seems to me that you need to open up the DC and fasten the controller ports and make sure all wires are leading to the correct places.
