Alot of people seem to like HUGO (Hu-Go) but I have not personally had much luck with it.

Magic Engine will run it no problem. However it's a commercial emu though reasonably priced. If you can find it Yame is the other best bet. Almost perfect but dis-continued.

Are these cab-friendly, do you know?

I've had no success at all with Magic Engine - both times I installed it I had to re-install Windows XP from scratch because of a blue screen error that wouldn't go away.

Yeah thats strange as I've used a couple of versions of Magic Engine with no problem. I've never heard of it ever crashing a machine so something else is definitely wrong.

As for the others I haven't tried them so do not know.

Magic Engine works great for me on WinXP. It's also cab-friendly. It is also the best, and in my opinion the only TG16/PCEengine emulator to bother with.

Ok, but has anyone else had a problem with the cd based games dumping you into the magic engine UI from a front end? all the card games run great from mamewah, but i can't get the cd based ones to stop loading the GUI from the emu????

Yeah, I have no idea why Magic Engine hoses my machine every time but I'm udnerstandably gunshy about installing it again. There are a couple TG16 games I'd love to play again though :/
