b/w-x/y monitor help
« on: February 27, 2005, 03:23:22 am »
I am a newbie on this forum but have seen alot of problems solved here so I figured its worth a post.I have two old b/w x/y monitors that need help-one elctrohome g05-801 with burnt out doubler(damper diode marked as d900 in schematic). The only lead I have gotten is that eldorado claims there is replacement part available but they are out and wont tell me anything about where it comes from or who makes it.The other monitor I bought from ebay was wells gardner 19v2000-Claimed to be working-but when I got it I see that some one put g05-801 hv unit in it with no mod done and no chance for it to work(of course the doubler is fried in that unit as well)so now I have two non working units. If anyone has parts for sale or info on replacement units-any help would be greatlly appreciated. Thanks in advance and keep up the helpfull posts...
