YDKJ artwork?
« on: February 25, 2005, 12:25:17 pm »
Hello all,

I am working on my 2nd control panel for my cabinet and it will be for the "You don't know jack" trivia games.

Basically I have three of the large "press your luck" style buttons and a small keyboard on the panel. These games are awesome!

Anyone know of any good artwork I can use? Keeping with the theme of my cabinet. The panel is black with blue and yellow dots like pac-man along the edge.

Your thoughts?

Tell me about it! Right now I have a button with the word "Screw" under it.

I got a nice keyboard that is one of those flat rubber ones. Cut a slot for the wire and side to go in and cut out a spot in the plexi for the keys. Its better than hacking a full size keyboard.

Have you seen the Screw button on the old Tiger "You Don't Know Jack"?  There's a pic of it on the auction at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1182&item=5168544491&rd=1.

Jeez, how THIS for timing!  I just finished my second YDKJ stand-alone controller:
Project announcement: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,32721.0.html

I used an image that I ganked off of this site, but I have no idea where the true origins of it come from.  I liked it...maybe it'll suit your needs too.
