Here's a dumb question. I am using Mamewah 0.963 (Oldschool) and I would like to size this down to 800x600 without loosing a lot of the pic. Can someone hold my hand through the process of how to do this. I tried to edit the pic, and it just cut off the right edge and bottom. I know this is a dumb question, but after jumping into all this, I have no brain waves left.
I think the windows image viewer has a resize function, but for all my simple imaging needs I use Irfanview, an absolutely free image viewer that supports just about any image format:
http://www.irfanview.deopen the image with Irfanview, click CTRL-R (or Image->resize in the menu), make sure you select Resample and Lancoz filter (I think, whichever one say slowest) then enter the image size you need (800x600). It will resize the image for you.
I works very well when resizing images down. When sizing images up (larger) the image gets more fuzzy because it has to invent details that weren't there.
Edit: you will have to go in the mamewah layout editor and resize the different text boxes to match the new image size. Simply open the layout file in the editor, then drag the corner of each rectangle to resize.
