x-arcade & mame32 to pick games

got my x-arcade setup and works great, but i can;t seem to use to select a game when i go to the game list and push down it only lets me choose between the 1st games on the screen

what mame are yiu running?
mame 32 (option - interface options- check allow game select joystick)
