Help with Arcade monitor
« on: February 18, 2005, 11:50:47 am »
Hi all,

I'm new to the list and already I really need your your help.

I have a PC configured with mamewah that I want to connect to an old 19" arcade monitor.
The monitor was pulled out of a working cabinet and should be good.
I've downloaded the 15khz boot disk from omnicade and connected my homemade cable
but all I get is a yellow screen with refresh lines

I built a vga cable and used the following pinout

Pins
1- Red
2- Green
3- Blue
5- Gnd
13- -Hsync
14- -Vsync

Is my monitor bad ? if so I can I test it ?? or do I need a video amplifier ???

Thanks in advance

Hugues

Yeah, I was the one that told you about Ultimarc's video amp.

Since you're looking for homebrew, see this site:

its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...
