using arcade monitor w/ arcadevga card
« on: February 13, 2005, 01:15:34 pm »
I have a 25" wells garder monitor out of a tmnt cabinet I believe its a k7000. Im not sure of the exact number but I dont think it will matter for my question. I plan to hook it up to a arcadevga card from ultimarc. Ive been told i could run 640 x 480 interlaced with this monitor. If I want to play pc games like hamsterball or possibly doom will I be able to do that? I no the games support 640 x 480 but when they are installed they always default to higher resolutions. Whith the arcadevga installed will the games automatically defaoult to the highest resolution my monitor displays or will it just be a blank screen or will it overclock the monitor. How do pc games look on arcade monitors interlaced? Thanks for the help as you cans see Im definately a noob when it comes to monitors.

If you right-click on the game .exe. Go to compatibility and run in "640x480".
