Problems with MAMEZIP...
« on: February 08, 2005, 11:28:51 pm »
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to update my ROMS...I'm following the instructions in a tutorial I found on "[romsite name redacted]":
So far I've run "ClrMAMEPro" and it went without error...
When I run "MAMEZIP", the application stops part way through scanning my files...
The first time I ran it, it kept ending on a file in the "S's" and would go no further...
I reran the entire process ("ClrMAMEPro" too) and the second time "MAMEZIP" started on my ROMS, it died on "mappy.zip"...the error said that it couldn't write to the destination disk, but everything else writes fine to it...

The PC is an AMD Duron 750mHz, with 128MB of RAM, running Windows XP Pro...I keep my ROMS on an external 200GB drive, that has about 62.5GB free...

Any help will be greatly appreciated...
