IZARAM - DatMaker
« on: October 23, 2002, 01:35:01 am »
Have you guys tried this program?  Awesome little deal.  Works great.  I tried to email Izaram a suggestion though, I guess more a wish list... not sure if anyone knows how to get ahold of him (the email in the txt file doesn't work.

Basically, I have my lists created for GameLauncher in the .map file (with the format of "filename  "description"", see attached).  When it creates a  DAT file from the directory, is there anyway to incorporate this file to automatically fillin the long filename?  I don't want to have to edit the .dat file to include my description only to lose that information next time I create the dat file.  So, could it read the directory and check against the .map file while making the dat file?

I really hope that Izaram reads this or someone has the source that would be willing to make this slight change.
