CrashTest's screenshots are the best that I know of.

Well.... if you go to crashtest's site now, he's decided to take some time off.

In the mean time, the official mame snap packs could be cropped for a "close enough" effect.  It should be possible via a batch process in ifanview.  I'll do a little testing, and once I get it right I'll post the settings I used.

*Update*  It appears that since JohnVI started dropping support for many of his files that he's also become too lazy to put in those hideous borders.  So the official mame 32 snaps and titles should be a good replacment.  They still aren't as good as crashtests (forced to 3/4 ratio, not always the best action shot)  but it'll do for now.

I have been creating native-resolution snaps and yes, they are bigger, but much better!  And since MAME is about emulation, not simulation, I prefer to have my title shots correct  ;)

I know this topic is old but if anyone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it....  I just need a snaps update from .74 to current.

Thanks!
