Specs for 19" eygo
« on: October 21, 2002, 03:53:07 pm »
Since I don't have the specs for my Telcovision VGA 19", I was going to try and use the specs for the eygo.  The specs were posted here:

http://webpages.charter.net/redpinata/redpinata/downloads/eygospecs.txt.

How do I determine the hclock, vclock, pclock (for Advance Mame ADVV) from these specs?

Before using the EYGO specs, you might want to consider emailing the company for specs specific to your monitor. (You can damage it if you use settings out of your monitor's range.) :-\ that would really suck!

http://www.telcointercon.com/

Sync. - TTL, positive or negative. Monitor circuitry will
automatically determine and adjust for VGA Horizontal Scan - Frequency 31.5KHz nominal
Capture range-30.5~32.5KHz
Active video - full width display of video
signals with active video from 25 to 28usec.
Linearity - plus or minus 5%
Vertical Scan - Frequency 60/70Hz
Capture range 47~85Hz

The Horizontal range gives you the "H Clock" - 30.5-32.5 and the "V Clock" is the 47-85. I think I've used the dfault Pclock setting from the Advv read me text. Make sure you use the right specs for your monitor, toots!

I was never able to find the contact info, just the specs. :(

I thought I read someplace that Eygo is out of business, but don't quote me on that.

Eygo is out of business from what I know.Thats why you cant buy any monitor from company(must get from ebay or somethin)..

However it does say "jumper selectable" but the question is what kind of jumper(for what purpose?).

Eygo is history. Their monitors and circuit boards are actually made by Huai I Electronics under the Wei-ya name. Contact: www.weiya.com.tw/monitor/monitor.htm
