ArcadeVGA + IBM Netvista = NADA
« on: February 04, 2005, 08:04:25 am »
Hi All,

I'm trying to install my new ArcadeVGA card in my IBM Netvista but the PC fails during the BIOS post . It's giving me one long beep with 2 short beeps which = Video adaptor fault . I've got a Nvidia TNT AGP card which works . When I use that card and go into the "Video" section in the BIOS there are 3 options :

1) Active Video = Nvidia
2) Select Active Video = AGP (selectable PCI or AGP)
3) Graphics Aperture Memory = (selectable , currently at) 64M

I've double checked the BIOS and I can't see anything else related to the Video adaptor .

Any help would be appreciated .

sounds like a few people are having this problem. one common video prob is not pushing your video card in all the way.

Get a real PC. Not these corporate slave machines.  ;)
Now in a tasty new flavour.
