Need the moon patrol bezel?
« on: February 01, 2005, 07:01:53 pm »
I have a moon patrol monitor bezel that isnt beaten up too badly. If its not on the vector site (didnt find it) I would be happy to take pics of it.

How 'bout scanning it?  Better than a photo :)

Actually... sometimes not. Depends on the camera, depends on the scanner. One of the guys that regularly gives me side art & marquees only uses a camera. A camera with mega mega pixels, but a camera nonetheless. His shots are better than most of the scans that I get. If a cabinet is well lit, and the camera has a good resolution, you can capture some great stuff.

The margin of error with a camera for a novice is much greater, however.

With a camera, just remember to use a tripod, keep the subject very well illuminated, but make sure the lights are not reflecting off the glass.
NO MORE!!

I'll whip out the tripod over the weekend. The design is simple and the sides are both recipricles (sp) of each other except for a box for the instructions.
