Need marquee
« on: January 27, 2005, 11:01:32 pm »
This is a rather subjective question, but does anyone have any suggestions on what to do for my marquee?  It was originally an Assault, but it will be my next MAME cab.

I'm good with photoshop and 3D modeling programs, but I have absolutely no idea what to start with.  I can do good 3D landscapes if anyone can think of a way to implement that.

The viewable area is 17x6.5 inches.

I'm open to ideas.

Cool cabinet.  Based on the width and vertical layout you only really have to choose between a classic themed cab or a 2 player shmup layout like its setup now then base the artwork around that.  I personally would mock up some simple shooter artwork.   Someone in this forum had that same cabinet and I think it came out really good so you might want to look for that.  Good luck.
