New to Zinc - how do I speed this thing up?

I just installed Zinc - very cool!  But even without sound most of the games are running at about 45 fps in-game (~55fps in demo mode)...

Is there anything I can do (short of buying a new pc) to speed this thing up?  Ok, or any other emulator I can use to run Tekken or Soul Edge?

I have a P4 1.6GHz w/256MB RAM, and 16MB ATI Rage video card...
