Adjusting screen sizes
« on: January 24, 2005, 03:00:00 pm »
So I just got my cabinet up and running.  Using win98 with MameWah as a front end.

Certian games (Rampage, and 1945 are 2 Ive found so far) display far too large for the screen.

Rampage for instance only displays the upper left quarter of the screen.

Im assuming this can be adjusted somewhere but Im not sure where/how to make the adjustment so it displays correctly.

Any input?

Thanks :)

So the monitor has to be adjusted every time I want to play one of these games?  Its not happening with all games, just a few.

On the MameWah website, there is a program called  ArcadeVGA M.A.M.E. Resolution Tool.  If you are using a ArcadeVGA, it will create an ini for each game with the correct (or closest) resolution to use.

Unfortunately Im not using the ArcadeVGA

I have an ATI All in wonder connected to a 27" TV via S-video if that helps at all.

what version of MAME are you using. What settings (HW Stretch, etc) and what do you have the resolutions set to?
