I am working on getting my 1st dreamcast .
Never seen one yet.
I know nothing about them.
I also found a deal on a @#$* load of games for it.
Since I do not know the good games from the lame games.
iIn short, a list of most popular games please.

All the arcade ports are great - Daytona, San Fransico Rush, Capcom vs SnK 1&2, Street Fighter III, etc
Other good games: Shenmue, Looney Tunes Space Race, Re-volt, Jet grind radio, Ms Pac-man(wifes favorite), Legacy of Kain

Is there a list of arcade ports for the DC?

I've found a few 'recommended games' lists but I'm only interested in arcade ports (for the moment). I've got a bunch of them already, but I don't yet have any shooters or Japan only games.

Although I haven't seen a definitive list of Dreamcast Naomi ports, I'm sure you can get a list of Naomi1 and Naomi2 games, and compare to a comprehensive DC list.

As for a list of shooters, here is my definitive list

. I have all but Twinkle Star Sprites (not to interested in that one) and of course the two new ones coming out later this year. An "*" indicates vertical monitor support. I'll try to list them in release date order, with oldest first.

Thanks for all the replies. I am waiting for my Dreamcast. The person I sent the money order to would have just got it in the mail today

I have just orderd the dreamcast emus on dvd and a few games
That money order should have been recieved today also.
I hope to be playing away in a week.
I would bet I will be posting a lot of questions on getting these games off the dvd and on to cd
I have nero 6.0 and clone cd what else do I need?
well goto go to work and wife is nagging about time

I'll probably not bother with the ones already in MAME but the import ones in particular I'd like to get.

If I get some spare time I'll try to make a list of DC arcade ports using the method you described.

btw, is your spiderman the bleamcast version?

I would LOVE to get a good list of games broken into categories.

Only games that work with digitial only and with basic SF 6 button setup.
