WG4600 "get well kits" available?
« on: January 20, 2005, 04:48:20 pm »
I have two dead 4600's.  I have had great success using the G07 repair/rebuild kits from BobRoberts.  I was looking for something similar, but all I can find are cap kits.

Anyone know of a source?
Thanks for the help.

A "Get Well" kit is merely another name as a capkit. Flyback and other component failure on the 4600 series is extremely rare so generally a capkit is all that's needed to repair this model series.

Capkit # 201A from Zanen Electronics (phone 806-829-2780) is all you need or you can just order Bob Roberts' 4600 capkit.

How much are the shipping on these from Zanen?  I need one for the 4600 as well, but just figured I'd get one from Bob.  But with his $6.00 minimum shipping...it adds a lot to the price, and I don't need anything else right now.

Shipping on my cap kit was $3.85 (actual priority mail cost), and Zanen takes credit cards...

Thanks for the responses.  I will try a cap kit in one and see if that cures the chassis.
