zinc 1.02 and can't get games to load? (solved)

Its saying it cant find the bios file cpzn1.zip in your roms directory.  It trys to load the bios file first.  The coh-1000c.353 file its not finding lives inside the cpzn1.zip file.  Make sure you have it.

I just checked i have both cpzn1 and cpzn2 in my roms directory. And the proper contents within those zip files. Is this a rom problem. Abny other ideas would be much appreciatred!

Not that im aware of, no.  I have 1.0.2 running in c:\zinc on my PC and its using the rom set from my old 0.9 version - which is in another folder but still works.

The error still suggests to me that the file cannot be found (more likely) or is incorrect.  Are you sure the rom files are in the rom directory inside the new version?

Also, are you running this from Windows command line or through a GUI?  If you aren't already, simplify the process and just have Zinc, and the roms in a folder and run it from the command line.

Howard, I followed your link to the rom support thread. I get the hint! However, I thought it a valid question considering i'v done considerable research proir to asking the question. Well, considering you took the time to reffer me to that link anychance I could at least get your two cents regarding the problem?
