For forging metal parts?
I did this in a shop class once.  Made an aluminum gun.  It was cool but pouring molten metal was a little daunting. :-*

Yeah...  we are gonna be making an aluminum pulley.  Once I pass this lab and take a test at the end of the semester, I get full (unsupervised) access to the big machine shop here.  Can you say "custom arcade parts"?   ;D

I'm putting in my order for several custom Joystick handles right now to avoid the rush.

Please remember this when others start making requests when you show us your first batch of parts you (obviously) will make for yourself and open yourself up for doing small projects for a fee for us.
