CPU monitor dead?
« on: January 12, 2005, 09:52:44 am »
I upgraded and took out my 14 in CPU monitor and put in a 17 inch one.  I never had any problems with the 14 in. monitor.  Anyways, I have the cabinet running for a couple hours yesterday, i went back into the room to shut it down and the monitor was off.  I tried turning it back on by hitting the monitor button, but nothing happened.  I took out the monitor and this is still the case.  I tried a new plug/cable and plugging into a different CPU, but the monitor does not even turn on.  What could  I have done to my monitor?  I guess maybe it overheated?  I dunno.  Any suggestions would be wonderful.

thanks,

Chris

*shrug* it could have just died. It happens.

Was it old?  Does it light up at all?

Well, it does not do anything, including light up when i hit the switch.  I don't even hear any type of "clicking" noise.  I guess it was kinda old, but under 5 years i suppose.
