but the code doesn't work. Does the eyedol code (left + 1 + 2 + 4 then right + 2 + 3 + 6) work on all the revisions?

I think in most versions the code is Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A Select Start.

Just download cheat.dat, enable cheats, and set yourself as Eyedol

I'm not cranky, I can't stand a waste of forum space.

Gamefaqs indeed has arcade faqs.... weather or not they have one for ki is beyond me, but considering it wasn't a very popular game they might not. And yes, in the good ones revisions and their differences are covered.

The only reason I posted the code from Gamefaqs was because you never said in your original post anything about selected Riptor first. I remember that code back when i played the original game and I remember having to select Riptor. If you keep trying to do the code you stated without selecting Riptor first, of course you are going to have trouble on any revision you use. I was just making sure you knew the complete code. I'd advice just trying the code over and over on all versions. That should tell you if it works or not if you feel that you are able to accurately do the code everytime.

I dont know what to tell you. I got Eyedol the first time I entered the code I gave in the link. You know instead of sitting on the board waiting for someone to answer your question you can go out to the internet and find it yourself.

i didnt want to play eyedol I found the code for you and it took me all of 5 mins to find it.

No, it doesn't. I remember that when we updated the ROMs in our cabinet, the Eyedol code no longer worked. I am certain it changed to something else (a player could still play as Eyedol) but the code was different and I don't remember what is is. A Google search could probably help you here.

If you want to play as Eyedol using that code, play an early revision.

By the way, Killer Instinct was HUGELY popular, so I don't know what others are going on about...
