No there isn't.  And even if there was, you wouldn't want to.  Lag times would make games utterly unplayable.

Consider playing any of your favourite games with 100ms or worse ping times per button press.  Sound like fun?

I just wondered, the Kaillera actually works great.  Play lots of different games without any lag.  On occasion a server will freeze up, but that is really rare.  But it gives me the chance to play Joust with my old college buddy in another state...just like the old days 8)

No offense Howard, but in my situation, (high speed internet connection, semi fast computer...etc) it does work well, at least in the game that I have played on it..that being Joust.  I have an original Joust machine in the basement...and play via kaillera/Internet and standing in front of the machine..are very similar.  Sound, video and button response.  I really brought up the topic to see how it works for others ( I take it not well for you) and to gain interest in future Mame projects via internet play. :police:

Worked fine for me too..

Its not "exactly" like playing next to your friends.. and SOMETIMES lag can be a pain.. but ive had some really good games of SF2T and Metal Slug..

its all about stability of connection..
