new guys starting new project

Hey everyone, We've been checking out the byoac scene for quite some time now and have finally started working on a project of our own. We hope to fully build a nice stand up arcade machine in the near future but are starting off by building a desktop control panel, so we can get the hang of everything. here is what we have so far. - also if you have any name suggestions or artwork suggestions for a cpo throw them our way, were really stuck. so far we've framed the box, cut the top/plexy and have primed part of the box. thanks for checking it out

also check out the awesome slippers

Good thing you haven't hinged anything yet, you still have time to flip the top over so the joysticks go on the correct side.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Regarding the artwork...

<<<also check out the awesome slippers   >>>
How about a Wookie theme to match your slippers.  ;D

What games will you be playing or like, Do you have a favorite character/cartoon, etc.
You got to give us some idea for a theme...

Some of us prefer the joysticks on the right.

haha, thanks for the replies guys. -As far as the art work goes I came up with some stuff in photoshop today that I believe we'll use for this CP. Nothing to fancy just something good enough for learning purposes, as this is what this project is all about for us. We started painting the box black, have 2 coats on it as of now. I will post pics of the cab and artwork in a few.
