Daemon Tools Question -- How many virtual drives do you use?

A friend of mine just sold me a bunch of his old "You Don't Know Jack" games and I've already created .ISO images of them so I'd like to use Daemon Tools on my arcade machine so that I don't need to swap discs (eg. I can just use the .ISO images).

However, since I'd like to have a BUNCH of CD-ROM games (YDKJ, Blitz 2000, Golden Tee PC, etc, etc), how many virtual drives should I use?  I'm thinking I might need to create like 10 virtual CD-ROM drives but I'm worried that by doing so I'll slow down the entire machine.

Everybody that is using daemon tools on their arcade machine, how are you dealing with several .ISO images and how many virtual drives do you use?

Alcohol 120% supports more virtual drives.

 I think Daemon tools limit you to just 4 drives.. Unless there's a new version that supports higher.

The whole idea behind daemon tools is you can switch isos via the command line, and thus you only use one drive.  It's useful for emus such as chankast. 

If you are using it in some other way then I suggest alcohol 120% as the others have.

How are you guys switching images and then loading a game?  (are you using mamewah?)

I'm thinking about creating a .bat file that will 1) load a new image and 2) run the game.  The only problem is that if I use a .bat file, I'm afraid that when the game is launched, MAMEWAH will actually think the game is FINISHED (eg. when you run a win32 program from the command-line, usually the program is run but control is immediately returned to the command prompt...)

I use Daemon tools and switch ISO's before any app that needs it.

in teh case of pc games, you may also want to concider a full install and a no cd patch so you dont need the cd at all, iso or original.

www.gamecopyworld.com has no cd patches.

Actually 4.   I use Daemon tools to install various games and then patch them.  Works greats.
