I found one over the christmas break at the parent's place talking about video games--just curious if its ok to post the scanned excerpts?
for example...

what I found most interesting is that the same games would still be valid today--especially the piling of the bull, the legal manoever game, and the bloody hockey fight (although not this season)...just good for some nostalgia

Really a shame what became of Mad Magazine....
Now there's advertising and the articles are more goofy that satirical.
Ah well... the Complete Mad CD-Rom set is really cool if you can find it on eBay. Every issue scanned up to about 1998.

What advertising? True thay had an ad a while back which was a fold in, but it was only for WB products (Who owns them now I think). And upcoming issues get advertised.
If anything, they re-print the same stuff way too often now.

The last time I looked at an issue (about 3 or 4 years ago) there were real ads (what I thought was a parody on the back was actually a real ad for Altoids). I don't know if they changed back but that's what killed it for me.

I'm looking at Australian MAD. There hasn't been advertising in about 2 years. And even that wasn't anything major.
