Recommendations for electronics books?
« on: December 30, 2004, 08:22:35 am »
Newbie here.

Anybody have a recommendation for a good, entry level, easy to read book on basic electronics concepts? Like volts, watts, amps, ohms, transistors, diodes, resisters, etc??

Thanks in advance.

I can actually email you a couple military electronics training manuals.  They're pretty good, and make for good references.  The problem is, it would be about 4-5 Megs, so unless you have cable/dsl it would take forever.  Let me know.

If possible, could you email those manuals to me as well?  I could certainly benefit from a little electronics knowledge.  You can send them to jck_strw@yahoo.com.  I'm at work (a university with so much bandwidth I don't know what to do with myself :) so dl'ing won't be a problem.

Thanks.

I wouldn't mind them either.  If you do a single bulk email it wouldn't be any additional work on your end.  arthurpeale@gmail.com should have enought space.

jcroach,

I didn't receive that PM with your email.  Probably because my profile isn't filled out fully.  I'll send what I've got to everyone else who asked though.

I wouldn't mind some reference materials as well...It's been a while.

It would be appreciated,
