Dreamcast Mouse issue
« on: December 27, 2004, 09:56:58 am »
I have Dream Connection 2in1 to hook a mouse to my DC (www.jandaman.com/games.mvc?p=dc2in1&Category_Code=DC ).

I hacked a pair of original Sega controllers  to my control panel.  I hacked a ps2 mouse and connected it to my happ trackball. The mouse and the hacked Sega controllers don't work together. The mouse quits responding.  However I can plug in a 3rd party DC controller instead of the the hacked ones and the mouse works fine. This is the case with several different mice, not just the hacked one.

Do the original Sega controllers normally work with the 2in1? I don't have any unhacked ones to test.

Why not just get a Dreamcast mouse and hack it?  Seems that at least the interface would work correctly.
