I-PAC2 Installation Problem...Win-IPD
« on: December 24, 2004, 12:19:53 pm »
I am having problems installing the Win-IPD software on my machine. Here is what I've tried so far...

I downloaded the latest version of the Wini-IPD software off the Ultimarc site. I tried running the setup program and got the following error message while copying the MSVBVM60.DLL file...

Copying Files, Please stand by:
Processing: MSVBVM60.DLL (7 of 7)

Then, the following error came up...

Setup cannot continue because some system files are out of date on your system. Click OK if you would like setup to update these files for you now. You will need to restart Windows before you can run setup again.

- I re-ran the setup after re-booting and still stuck at the same spot.
- I downloaded Minwah's System install setup (thinking he has the new file I need) and re-ran Win IPD setup, still the same thing.
- I tried downloading Direct-X but cannot due to the fact this machine is not on the internet and you need a connection to the internet to complete the process (I think...)

Has anyone run across this problem? Anybody here have any ideas on how I can resolve this problem? I cannot re-program my new I-PAC until I can get this running.

Thanks a bunch and Happy and Merry Christmas!

Vids:  Home built MAME machine, Crystal Castles. Arkanoid
Pins:   Williams Aztec (working). Stern Nugent (not working...yet), Williams Phoenix (major not working, missing parts.... )

Always on the lookout for buying 90's game with Ramps that need work...

What was the fix for this? I have customer with the same issue. I had him download the latest DirectX drivers, but it fifn't fix it.
I have also read something about needing a particular VBruntime version?

Anyone run into this issue and solved it?
