Sony confirmed that Gran Turismo 4 will have 480p and 1080i support! This is awesome news! Read all about it here.

ive played various demos and GT Prolouge...  this game will be amazing.  the feel is similar to other GT games... just the graphics got 10x better.  Its hard to compare to PGR2 cause GT is more of a simulation while PRG2 is an arcade type racing... both are great in there own way

pushed back yet again..

there adding MORE cars again, AND possibly readding the online play
The Japanese release date is still at december 28th 2004. I don't think they will change it again two days before the release. The USA release will be in february 2005 while European release will be march 2005.

The Japanese version will not have online gameplay. It will have a LAN mode for up to 6-players though. I think thats better than using an online pay-service to compete...

Well, for the Japanese it isn't. But perhaps just LAN mode won't be so bad if someone will make some tunneling software to compete online over the internet.
