Installing cap kit did not do anything
« on: December 21, 2004, 11:55:15 am »
I have a 29 inch monitor in one of my DDR Machines.  It was very dim even after all monitor adjustments.  We installed brand new caps, but the monitor is still dim.  Surprisingly there is no contrast control on either the remote or the chassis or the neckboard.  What is the next step to try to get this monitor back to vibrant color?

It's possible the Flyback isn't delivering enough voltage, or the tube is bad.

Another reason could be that your remote board is bad.  Are any of the pots cracked?

Yet another reason is that your game board isn't working properly. It's not often that happens, but it does.
