Does my Happs Trackball need drivers for windows and mame?
« on: December 21, 2004, 05:53:48 am »
Hi im putting my cab together and when i had a trial run lastnight i noticed that the trackball was slower than my mouse would be iv tried to change the settings on the windows xp options but its still not perfect.

Do i need drivers? and if so where do i get them from?

Hope you can help me out guys - Marky  :)

I've got the USB/PS-2 version of the Happs ball. No drivers.
Aside from the mouse settings in Windows, you can also hit TAB and crank up the speed within MAME by adjusting Analog settings. I had to crank it up in Marble Madness because movement was too slow despite working fine for other games.

It seems a bit slow compared to a standard mouse but it still ok just a bit of a perfectionist and wanted it to be spot on. So i dont need drivers..cool.

Thanks TOK will also look into that tab option.
