  • I want to Build My Own Arcade Controls!!
Neo Geo emulation.
« on: December 20, 2004, 09:35:50 am »
I have been doing a little research on the Neo Geo home system. It seems that the only difference between neo geo arcade (or MVS to you experts) and the neo geo home sytem was the bios. I have never owned a neo geo sytem but I am guessing the home version did not have the timer that required you to insert a coin every few minutes. Everything I have read says that the carts are NOT intercahgable do to a different connector but the data on the carts is the same.
My question is how do you play the neo geo games in home mode? Mame allows you to set a different bios bit they are all bios for arcade games. Is there another emulator that allows the use of the home bios?
I would like to add neo geo home emulation to my cab but I am unclear about the easiest way to do this.

Thanks
Todd
For it is not enough to have a good mind, rather the main thing is to apply it well.
