i just realized I have a problem...

I adventure for more noodles, mushrooms, spices, and sausauge, so I can cook more chow mein, so I can adventure more so I can get more nooodles, mushrooms, spices, and sausage to make more chowmein so I can adventure more to get more...

I'm trying to get the liver of steel in the deep fat friar's forest but keep getting ---my bottom--- handed to me in the dark part of the woods. (liver of steel will let you go up to 20 drunkness)

So can anybody cook or just pastamancers and saucerers. Being a turtle tamer I haven't found a way to gain more adventures on a consistent basis. And it's too much fun so I keep blowing my 40(+3) in like an hour. Now I know why Evercrack got so popular.

anyone can cook, but there are some items that only can be made by pastamancers or saucerors.

I've donated a few items, and a bunch of firecrackers...But for those that don't need them...don't forget to donate the can lids for those of us magic folk then. <Please>

I'm just starting to learn to cook, I've come up with IMHo a decent combo for those interested. Bat Gut and spices --> Bat Hagis <gave me 5 adventures and 10 muscleboundness> Not sure if this is good, but at level 4 It was a nice boost!

well, part of the fun is discovering/figuring things out for yourself...

but most spoilers/answers are just a google or http://kol.coldfront.net away...

recipes: (thjere's another guide out there that gives the Fullness factor and what each dish gives)

hint: combine herbs and spices to make secret blend of herbs and spices

Level 4 Disco Bandit having a hard time getting to level 5.

But do need to start cooking stuff. Any tips appreciated.
Also I need 1 spider web to complete gourd quest. (i hope this will take me over to level 5).
run out of adventures to quickly and don't seem to be making too much meat. Any tips will be appreciated.

I'm dropping of some salty dogs in a little bit in the clan warehouse, they give you a few mysticality and some more adventure points. I won't be able to get you to level 5 though. and watch your drunkeness.

in some places, the baddies drop booze. Either whitey's grove (white lightning) or the barrel full of barrrels in the mountain(whiskey and something else). but watch out, the enemies are no joke.

uh.. well... they are purchased with clan coffers, along with bags of goodies which represent our clan's status...

Since we don't have any googies (yet) to steal, I don't think we'll be attacked... i wanted to put up the things that will help characters build up quicker first (meat tree, calender, gym... before blowing money on the other accoutraments)

we can always vote on what to get next =P

BTW griff, what's the big rock for?

Bags of Goodies: These represent your clan's wealth and status. Other clans will try to steal these, and you'll try to steal them from other clans.   1000 Meat

Bowls of Oatmeal: These feed your clan army -- each Grunt, Grrrrrlgoyle, and Archer needs 1 Bowl of Oatmeal per day, or they'll get angry and leave.   3 Meat

Cinder Blocks: You can build a wall out of Cinder Blocks, to make it more difficult for enemy ground forces to invade your Clan Hall and steal your Goodies. This wall can contain no more than 1000 blocks.   150 Meat

Knob Goblin Grunts: You can hire teenage Knob Goblins to act as your basic ground forces.   300 Meat

Grrrrrlgoyles: You can hire sassy Grrrrrlgoyles to act as your air forces. They are not affected by enemy Cinder Block Walls.   500 Meat

Recliners: You can buy recliners to put on the roof of your Clan Hall, for La-Z-Archers to sit in.   1500 Meat

La-Z-Archers: You can hire effective but slovenly archers to defend your Clan Hall against attackers. They are effective against both Grunts and Grrrrrgoyles, but won't work for you unless they have someplace to sit.   500 Meat

Phantom Trollbooth: If you build this, attacking clans will have to pay the Troll Toll of 10,000 Meat in order to attack you. This Meat will go into your Clan Coffer. 50000 Meat

That's cool. It deosn't really matter to me. I'd rather not be attacking or getting attacked. Especially sine I get my arse kicked by a barrell.

we'll be getting a tanning bed next for the accordian thieves... btw I discovered you cn use the hoboflex drunk!

So if you don't want your last few drunk adventures to carry over, you can use them in the gym... (I bring my drunkeness right up to 14 (well now 19 with my liver of steel) and then do a salty dog to get +10 mysticality and 5 or so extra adventures... that i'll be too drunk too use, but now I can go to the gym. (or just let them carry over)

If your health goes to 0 you're considered beaten up and your stats go to 1/2 for 3 adventures. Don't know anything about mojo...

the mojo i'm guessing would be like magic points in any othe game. I'd assume once you run out you can't use skills until you get more.

Hey and everyone get a tent for your campsite. when I added one to mine i went from gaining 4 hp per rest to 19 hp per rest.

there should be stuff to make a bar skin tent (bar skin + stakes) for a slightly better tent than the newbie sport tent in the clan stash...

I've got some spare spider webs... (Did you know you can combine spider webs to make stickier webs to fling at enemies?) which i will add to the clan coffers

IT's a good idea (to start a yahoo group or what have you) as this thread will get unwieldy (although I kinda like it being in one of the sites I already check freqently.. but we can't take over the everything else forum with kol threads)

if at some point we out grow the yahoo groups, I could donate some space for an "official" DO; website (if someone else wanted to run it)

but i digress, we've still lot of ingame work to do... there's la-Z archers to buy and meat to stack, and pasta to mancer, and booze to cock(tail)

Fair enough. I understand completly. I'll smoothing out some of the rough edges of the site over the weekend. But it is certainly functional now.

Also, is there a reason we can only train magic and strength, but not moxy in the clan gym?

The meat vortex only sells at the store for 49 meat, so I'd assume it wouldn't give that much meat. I used one once (not in battle) and it stole 150 meat from me.

And we've got 120k in the stash, not 10k.

As for the gym, rampy just needs to buy a tanning bed. It's not that expensive, is it? C'mon, we're (comparably) rich!

And for those with Mosquito Familiars...save up some meat and pick up a hypodermic needle from the mall, or get someone to do it for you...Gnat's been pumping me full of HP's almost constantly since <Hint look for the lowest prices at the mall...Got mine for 1750 meat>
Bumped Gnat from 9lbs to 14lbs.
